· Parks and Recreation co-star Chris Pratt is the latest to join the cast of Moneyball, in which he'll play restored Oakland A's first baseman and designated hitter Scott Hatteberg. [THR]
· Haley Joel Osment will be back onscreen for the first time since 2007 in Sex Ed, appearaing as a would-be high school algebra teacher -- and, wouldn't you know it, a virgin -- who gets stuck teaching sex education instead. I wonder how that will end. [THR]
· More than a year after he was indicted on charges related to the Anthony Pellicano case (remember that?), director John McTiernan pleaded guilty to making two counts of making false statements to the FBI and one count of perjury. He faces a year in prison and will be sentenced Oct. 4. [THR]
