Joss Whedon's Wonder Woman Would Have Worn Pants Too

Were you a little put out by the DC Comics unveiling of the newly redesigned Wonder Woman, who now wears pants and a Hot Topic jacket while boasting breasts the size of her head? If so, I'm curious to hear what you'd make of the following designs, which were commissioned for Joss Whedon's aborted take on the project.

Slashfilm noticed a few tweets from Whedon's costume designer Shawna Trpcic, who enclosed concept art from their stint on Wonder Woman a few years ago. You'll see the superheroine in four poses, and while the pants and Hot Topic trenchcoat seem to be de rigeur for a modern-day reimagining, at least there's one short-skirted take that somewhat suggests the original design. And the breasts! They're relatively normal! Nicolas Winding Refn, take notes.
