According to Yahoo's chief marketing officer Elisa Steele, the portal will premiere a series of web shorts at the end of the year that will feature Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara commenting on the day's news stories. "Ben had a great idea," Steele said. "He started to talk to us and it was a good fit with Yahoo."
The series is part of Yahoo's new internal mandate that 20% of its content will be original, a commitment that recently led the company to engage in some unfortunate Lisanti-poaching.
