The Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Trailer: Twilight

Lest you think the MTV Movie Awards only provided profanity and vagina lights, there was also a new teaser trailer for Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows. And, would you look at that: Harry Potter's all grown up!

Not much is revealed in the very brief 50-second teaser trailer for The Deathly Hallows -- part one of which hits theaters in November, part two in 2011. You've got Harry Potter looking concerned, Voldemort looking evil and that patented Harry Potter whimsical-cum-foreboding score playing throughout. Basically, Warner Brothers marketing department seems to be saying: "Did you like any of the other Potter movies? Then send us your money now."

What is different, however, is the maturity level. Daniel Radcliff, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint look, if not old, then certainly adult. And between their ages, the angst-filled drama (Ron and Harry fighting!) and all those shots of people running through the woods, there is a certain Twilight feel to the proceedings. Just because Harry Potter isn't a vampire, doesn't mean the film can't be shot to look that way.

VERDICT: Sold.
