Now, three of the trailers from our initial appraisal have evolved into full-fledged, super-edited previews. The writing isn't superb, but man, those are likable leads. Billy Gardell and Melissa McCarthy share believable chemistry and seem poised to present more-or-less conventional storylines with gusto. For now, I'm in.
Verdict: Yay.

Because the "Twitter sensation" that birthed this is based on vulgar one-liners, the crux of the show depends on William Shatner's dialogue. It disappoints. The tired "navy lesbian" joke, the one-note delivery, and the maudlin plea for companionship make his character tired, not re-tweetable.
Verdict: Nay

Scott Caan tears this uncalled-for remake apart! His cockiness as Danno is endearing and the blustery visual effects provide an exciting backdrop. There's a distinct chance this won't head the way of Bionic Woman. Aloha! (Meaning hello.)
