What's On: Whole Kitchen Caboodle

Gordon Ramsay's tying up the second season of Kitchen Nightmares with a traumatizing version of a retrospective. Will knives be hurled? Will faces be eaten? Bien sur! Hopefully the featured restaurateurs will have learned from their last run-ins with Ramsay, who's revisiting them with the blind hope that they've changed their laggard, Yankee ways.

Kitchen Nightmares [Fox, 9 PM]

Gordon Ramsay packs up his rage and travels back to a bunch of eateries from past shows. He's making sure they're following his orders and not bursting into tears when customers walk in anymore. If they haven't complied, Ramsay administers a soft beating to the sous-chef and tosses electrical fire at the waitstaff. Simple.

Larry King Live [CNN, 9 PM]

Larry welcomes the three final couples on Dancing with the Stars, including competing celebrities Nicole Scherzinger, Erin Andrews, and Evan Lysacek. Can't wait to hear Larry's pressing queries about cha-cha-chas and Viennese waltzes. Suspender your disbelief.

Ghost Whisperer [CBS, 8 PM]

In the season series finale, Melinda (Jennifer Love Hewitt) goes toe-to-toe with a poltergeist, railing against forces that threaten her and her son's lives. Unfortunately, the poltergeist is aware of what Melinda did last summer, which may lead to hi-jinx at a fisherman's wharf and a seaside pageant.

Men in Black [TNT, 9 PM]

Am I supposed to be OK with the theme song to Men in Black, that flagrant ripoff of Patrice Rushen's "Forget Me Nots"? It's been 13 years, and I'm still having trouble getting over it. Anyway: Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones play special agents who track down aliens and pelt them with one-liners.
