Movieline's Week in Review: So You Think You Cannes Dance?

Whether the center of your pop-culture world was on the Croisette, in New York or in Los Angeles, Movieline this week offered something specific and delightful for everyone. And for those of you simply still in dumbfounded shock over Megan Fox, you're covered, too. Read on for our Week in Review, and let Christopher Rosen (and much-anticipated Cannes awards announcements) guide you through the weekend. Have a great one!

· David Bourgeois -- aka Our Man in Cannes -- rocked the Croisette with coverage of Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, Fair Game, Biutiful, Blue Valentine and fine new work by Mike Leigh and Woody Allen.

· We were proud to feature a week-long conversation with Bret Easton Ellis about adaptations of his novels Less Than Zero, American Psycho, Rules of Attraction, The Informers, and his screenplay for the upcoming Golden Suicides.

· Many thanks to this week's other interviewees as well, including the Michael Douglas, Glee's Kevin McHale, and Verge designee Imogen Poots.

· Naomi Watts looks like Valerie Plame, who doesn't look like Marilyn Monroe, who somehow resembles Naomi Watts. Whoa.

· Recaps! We got your recaps, including Lost, Dancing With the Stars (and another In Memoriam), Glee, V, Celebrity Apprentice, Real Housewives of NY and NJ, Fringe, and the craziest-ever episode of Law & Order: SVU.

· A crazy week of new trailers included Charlie St. Cloud, We Are What We Are, the moon-Nazi opus Iron Sky, and previews for upcoming seasons of True Blood and Running Wilde.

· And speaking of new TV series, Upfront Week brought plenty from ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX and The CW. Here's what's dead on arrival -- along with a requiem for the fallen actors who preceded them.

· Megan Fox recently told Allure, "I think I could survive a week without eating." I guess we'll find out! Oh, and Shia? Watch your back.

· As American Idol's ninth season wound to its finale, we dared to ask the hard questions. To wit: What the f*ck was THAT?
