TV Bites: Fox Introduces the Kilborn File

Kilborn225.jpg· It's official: Craig Kilborn is returning to the air with a six-week run of The Kilborn File, to be syndicated on Fox affiliates around the country. The half-hour program will premiere on June 28th in major markets like New York, Los Angeles, Boston and Philadelphia in different time slots, from 6:30 PM to 10 PM. The new show will feature Kilborn's sardonic take on current events, a changing panel of celebrity guests and the "5 Questions" segment he used on Late Late Show. In a press release yesterday, Kilborn said, "Mom, I'm home. The last few years of triathlons and charity work have been fulfilling, but fulfillment is overrated. Let's get it on." Who's ready? What's a Craig Kilborn?

  • Jorell says:

I can't wait until Kilborn leaves his show after two years, and his replacement makes the show infinitely more cool and watchable.

Welcome back Kilby! Kudos to you for having the courage to venture on to new endeavors once you have become the best at what you do...your originality and creativity made your shows what they were. Mr. Craig Kilborne is the creator of 5 Questions, not Steven Colbert.
ESPN Sportscenter, the Daily Show, and the Late Late Show all started to suck when Craiggers left. Anybody mention that Craig Kilborne was hand picked by David Letterman to run the show syndicated by Worldwide pants on CBS?
One of the few people that can truly make me laugh regularly.
    Best wishes & much success!!!

  • WTF? says:

I give this show about a week before it gets canceled. Get a person who can actually make people laugh and they might watch. From the promos he's already doing outdated and overdone jokes. Come on Fox, really?
