Simon Cowell appeared on Oprah today and, after touting the American version of X-Factor, he laughed off Oprah's question about the state of American Idol. "I'm not gonna say anything," he said. "Wouldn't change a thing. Everything's perfect." As for who should replace him, Cowell said something vague that could be taken as a swipe at Ellen Degeneres: "I think primarily, you've got to have somebody on that panel who actually knows what they're talking about."
