TV Bites: Matthew Perry Reigns Over Today's Pilot Pick-Ups

· It's another huge morning for pilot news, beginning with Matthew Perry's single-cam comedy Mr. Sunshine, which ABC has greenlit to series. The Friends alum stars as an aging sports manager who realizes that he can't get by on his womanizing ways after his 40th birthday. ABC has also picked up Jerry Bruckheimer's legal procedural The Whole Truth, cop dramedy Detroit 187, documentary dramedy My Generation and a romantic comedy starring Elisha Cuthbert called Happy Endings. · ABC has picked up on-the-bubble series V for another season and canceled FlashForward. [THR]

· Meanwhile, NBC has renewed Chuck and ordered David E. Kelley's legal drama Kindreds for midseason premiere. [THR]

· CBS has picked up its first new series: Mike & Molly from Two and a Half Men creator Chuck Lorre. The show stars Billy Gardell and Melissa McCarthy as a couple struggling with their weight. [Deadline]

· TBS has ordered Glory Daze, an hourlong fraternity comedy starring Kelly Blatz, Callard Harris and Tim Meadows. [Deadline]

· Jimmy Kimmel will host a primetime Eclipse special on June 23 for ABC with guests Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Dakota Fanning, Bryce Howard and Xavier Samuel. [The Wrap]
