The Divine Miss M joins the panel of The Marriage Ref tonight, and hopefully she'll make it worth our while with the following quip: "It must've been cooold there in your husband's shadow -- when he wanted to install a stripper pole in the den! Dealbreaker!" Maybe she could make several hundred "The Rose" innuendos regarding a couple from Omaha's sex life. Most of all, let's hope she tries hugging her famous co-panelist, because it might cause him to yell "No Deal" at the sky and wash his clothes six times.
Private Practice [ABC, 10 PM]
In the season finale, we finally found out the "shocking and saddening" death that Taye Diggs mentioned in a recent interview. Addison, Amelia, and Fife do their best to save Maya, whose car accident with Dell comprises her unborn baby's life. Sounds as grim as a finale can be! Thrilling!
The Marriage Ref [NBC, 10 PM]
Howie Mandel and Bette Midler join the panel, bringing necessary helpings of germaphobia and mermaid costumes to this affair. Maybe Howie will preview his upcoming gig on America's Got Talent by ceremoniously rejecting all couples who don't juggle fire or have three-year-olds who sing opera.
The Real Housewives of New York City [Bravo, 10 PM]
Well, this is the episode I've been waiting for: Countess LuAnn steps into the recording studio to record a little jam called, "Money Can't Buy You Class." Oh, guys. Let's have an open bar. Also: Kelly stirs things up even as the ladies try comforting Bethenny after the death of her father.
Driving Miss Daisy [CMT, 9 PM]
Oscar's Best Picture of 1989 chronicles the burgeoning relationship between a haughty widow (Jessica Tandy) and her chauffeur (Morgan Freeman). Add Dan Aykroyd for some laughs on the side, and you get... eh? Maybe the worst Best Picture of the decade? I haven't seen The Last Emperor, but I'm pretty sure I'm on the right track. At any rate, Jessica Tandy is immortal in an Best Actress-winning performance, and you should take notes on her posture and authority.
