· Jennifer Aniston may have a busier summer than usual, first negotiating to star opposite Jason Bateman, Colin Farrell and Charlie Day as one of the title characters in the workplace comedy Horrible Bosses. Then it's off to Wanderlust, in which she'd appear with Paul Rudd as half of a couple who takes off to a commune. Judd Apatow will produce, David Wain will direct, and Tracy Anderson will no doubt be on hand to carefully monitor Aniston's baby-food intake. [THR, Variety]
As expected, Brad Pitt is here to usurp some of the trade headlines as well, David Cronenberg finds his Cosmopolis duo, and more Hollywood Ink after the jump.
· Brad Pitt has his eye on another Darren Aronofsky project he probably won't star in: The Tiger, an adaptation of a forthcoming nonfiction account of an activist attempting to defend a small Siberian village against a predatory tiger. Pitt and Aronofsky have reportedly been developing since last year; Babel screenwriter Guillermo Arriaga will adapt it and Angelina Jolie will probably enter negotiations to play the tiger at some point. [THR]
· Like the limo in its darkly comic tale of catastrophe and existential woe, David Cronenberg's Cosmopolis inches incrementally toward its final destination: Colin Farrell is in talks to play the lead in the adaptation of the Don DeLillo novel; Marion Cotillard may end up playing his wife. International rights are up for grabs at Cannes if anyone's interested. [Variety]
· And Sucker Punch 3-D will now also bilk you for a few extra dollars in IMAX theaters, if you're interested in that. [THR]
· Kurt Russell is going to hell -- or something like that -- in the thriller Undying. He'll play a private investigator who travels to a "surreal underworld" when hired by a mysterious woman. And let me guess: She's the devil? Wasn't this called Angel Heart a coupled decades ago? Anyway, it shoots this fall. [THR]
