Week Gone Wild

The clarion call of the weekend is audible in the near distance, so it's time to pack up our biggest news, interviews, commentary and other links into Movieline's Week In Review. It makes a great Mother's Day present if you're still a little late on that front; you had to know we were looking out for you. Be sure to check in over the next few days with weekend editor Christopher Rosen as well -- and have a great one!

· Many thanks to this week's fabulous interviewees, including Michael Caine, Annette Bening, Evan Lysacek, Morena Baccarin, Katee Sackhoff, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Rooney Mara, Moment of Truth subject Laura Poitras and Verge designee Steven Strait.

· And God knows we only wish we could have interviewed "queen of copulation" Alison Brie.

· That oft-teased Conan O'Brien interview on 60 Minutes finally made the air. Needless to say, NBC fought back.

· Among the trailers to receive our Two-Minute Verdict were The American, Machete, The Killer Inside Me, Rubber and I Spit on Your Grave. Oh, and Piranha 3-D, whose naked viral marketing gimmick was waaaaayyyy better than any old trailer.

· And I don't know what you'd call our treatment of Sean Young's Dune home movie, but all that matters is it's awesome.

· Another week of American Idol, and the eliminations are getting more and more painful. We still have Casey James's back, though (even if he doesn't have his own).

· Recaps! So, so many recaps, including Glee, Gossip Girl, Real Housewives of New York (and New Jersey, Fringe, V, The Hills, Celebrity Apprentice and, of course, many pressing Lost questions asked and answered.

· OMG there's a secret J.J. Abrams trailer locked in this Iron Man 2 canister!!! But it's not what you think! Except it is! Sort of!

· R.I.P. Lynn Redgrave.

· Mark Lisanti took roughly 500 for the team by liveblogging The Human Centipede, which is more than even Roger Ebert seemed to want to bother with. And he wasn't done there!

· The fates of Anchorman 2 and Zoolander 2 were going concerns, but never fear, said Justin Theroux -- the latter is still on the way.

· Happy Mother's Day! And be grateful your mother isn't on this list.
