What's On: Divorce the Marriage Ref and Move FlashForward

It's Thursday again which means that you're going to have to find something to watch instead of Jerry Seinfeld's disappointing foray into televised marriage counseling. (We doubt that tonight's panel -- Cedric the Entertainer, Martha Stewart and Jason Alexander -- will muster enough courage to rise up against Tom Papa like Larry David did brilliantly last week). No worries though, because Movieline has some suggestions on how to ease past NBC's latest letdown.

Flashforward [8 PM, ABC]

After a three-month long hiatus and a few showrunner changes, "the next Lost" returns. In case you've forgotten, the show centers on a mysterious worldwide event in which everyone fainted and caught a glimpse of the future. FBI agent Mark Benford (Joseph Fiennes), who lost his job after an unsanctioned project with destined-to-die partner in crime Demetri Noh (John Cho), will rush to reclaim his position and firm up his marriage after learning something frightening about the immediate future in tonight's episode.

Parks and Recreation [8:30 PM, NBC]

Andy Samberg stops by the Amy Poehler mockumentary to distract you from the show's upcoming casting changes. Samberg plays a dim-witted park ranger who meets with Leslie about some crime in the park. Savor your Paul Schneider while he's there.

Sarah Silverman Program [10:30 PM, Comedy Central]

When Sarah is led to believe that she is mentally challenged, she uses her disability to inspire others. Meanwhile, Brian (Brian Posehn) and Steve (Steve Agee) achieve the impossible when they switch bodies after picking up a magical dragon phone. Who can't relate to that?

Afghan Star [9 PM, HBO]

Thursday night might usually be your only respite from talent competition programming but tonight's Sundance award-winning documentary is worth breaking that rule. The remarkable documentary from Havana Marking uncovers the phenomenon that Afghanistan's version of American Idol has had on its war-torn, democracy-opposed country. Movieline spoke to Marking at length about her film last summer.
