You know an Academy Awards show is boring when the best fodder for late night programs is a non-celebrity stage-crashing. Last night, both David Letterman and Jon Stewart paid tribute to the Oscar's breakout star, Elinor Burkett, with one using an orange wig and the other, wildlife. Those clips, as well as the other highlights you missed last night while weeping over Ticketmaster's denial of a Conan O'Brien comedy tour, after the jump.
6. "The Adorable Isaac Mizrahi"
I don't know if the fashion designer has ever been introduced that way before last night's Late Late Show, where Craig Ferguson and Mizrahi discussed everything from aging gays to Scottish kilt lore to Charles Nelson Reilly.
5. Remember the Time When Kelly Ripa Implied That Her Son Enjoys the Family Dog a Little Too Much?
If you don't, then watch the following clip in which the Regis & Kelly co-host provided every one of her youngest son's classmates with a lifetime of bullying material via stories of the family dog, a date with mom, and "genital pores."
4. Jon Stewart's Favorite Oscar Moments
The Daily Show host reviewed his favorite moments from the 82d Academy Awards before ID-ing the woman who interrupted Roger Ross Williams' acceptance speech as "the woman who runs the snack counter at my synagogue's Purim festival."

3. Letterman's Own Elinor Burkett
Even the Late Show host acknowledged Sunday night's break-out star during his monologue, when an actress dressed as Burkett crashed the host's monologue.
2. A Hungover Oscar Winner
Leave it to George Lopez to get his home-chola Sandra Bullock on the phone last night after only two hours of sleep to discuss her plan for that new Oscar. (Hint: It involves her husband and welding).
1. Mrs. Simon Cowell
There is only one late night host who could lure the future-Mrs. Simon Cowell out from the offstage shadows only to drive her away 30 seconds later after diving chin-first into a pile of make-up/bedroom innuendos. Jay Leno, you are a national treasure.
