Late Night Highlights: Bill Murray on Ghostbusters 3, Olympic Underwear and Jay Leno's Other Competition

Just as quickly as the Winter Vancouver Olympic coverage (temporarily) saved NBC from fourth-place ratings, the peacock transitioned out of icy sports and into celebration-mode. After Jay Leno and Jamie Foxx sprayed down the Tonight Show audience with champagne (more on that later), Jimmy Fallon fĂȘted his one-year anniversary at Late Night and his most-frequent visitor. But just because NBC had mostly forgotten America's great athletic feats in Vancouver did not mean other networks had. David Letterman welcomed Olympic ski accident survivor Bill Murray, Stephen Colbert wrapped up his Vancouver coverage and George Lopez chatted underwear with Olympic beauty Julia Mancuso. Those clips, as well as the other highlights you missed while rehearsing that foxtrot, after the jump.

5. Expanding the Olympic Empire

Lindsey Vonn may have snagged a segment on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno's second premiere but Lopez Tonight scored Vonn's rival Julia Mancuso, who showed off her underwear designs and medals.

4. Colbert's Final Olympic Wrap-Up

Stephen Colbert closed out one of the best chapters in his show's five-year-run -- his Vancouver coverage -- by performing a hybrid of national anthems with Canadian singer Michael Buble.

3. Inglourious Vinny

George Lopez gets credit for putting the Jersey Shore cast to work in some of the best sketches on their late night resume. In this guid-homage to Inglourious Basterds, Vinny reenacts the chilling opening scene with Christoph Waltz. The rest of the Jersey reenactments of Oscar-nominated films will premiere this week on Lopez Tonight.

2. Pattinson vs. Pattinson

The Twilight heartthrob, Remember Me star and Movieline interview subject amused Jimmy Fallon last night by playing along in one of the comedian's "Bothering Robert Pattinson" sketches.

1. When There's Something Strange in the Neighborhood

David Letterman may not have been able to recruit Lindsey Vonn or a rapping, champagne-guzzling Jamie Foxx to his set but he did find an injured Bill Murray, who gamely shared an anecdote about doing the Ghostbusters video game. Sadly, Murray did not boost Letterman's ratings.
