TV Bites: Another Daily Show Correspondent Flies the Coop

· This time the lucky actor-comedian is Jason Jones, who is (fun fact!) the husband of fellow Daily Show correspondent Samantha Bee. Jones will star in ABC's comedy pilot How to Be a Better American, as a father who embarks on a journey to be a better person and drags his family along kicking and screaming. Last November, Comedy Central gave John Oliver his own show. [Reuters]

Someone (cough, Chris Harrison, cough) spreads a nasty rumor about a Rozlyn Papa sex tape, CBS inks a new deal with Les Moonves, and more TV Bites after the jump.

· Someone is shopping a sex tape allegedly starring Chris Harrison's #1 enemy, The Bachelor's evicted McMansionmate Rozlyn Papa. No word yet on who her alleged co-star is and if he is wearing a man-kimono. [TMZ]

· CBS is holding on to its trusty CEO Les Moonves until at least February 2015. The network pointedly noted that Moonves' $3.5 million base salary will stay the same. [Variety]

· Ironically, NBC is postponing its Prime Suspect remake because it cannot narrow down its prime suspects vying for the lead role originally filled by Helen Mirren in the BBC version. [Reuters]

· Maybe these musical guests will make Jay Leno more excited about his return to the Tonight Show: Adam Lambert, Robin Thicke, Ben Harper, Ryan Bingham and Lifehouse. Or maybe not. [AP]
