While most of last night's hosts found new ways to cover the Winter Olympics (Stephen Colbert's fondue pong being the most innovative), Craig Ferguson used this last quiet week before the return of the Tonight Show with Jay Leno to try out a new format. Instead of puppets and choreographed music numbers, CBS's Scotsman relied on one guest for the entire hour, British comedian/author/actor Stephen Fry. And without a studio audience, last night's Late Late Show ended up being one of the most entertaining hours of television in recent memory, even if you had never heard of Fry. Click through for that entertaining segment, Stephen Colbert's foray in cheese, and the other highlights you missed last night.
5. Laughing with Lindsey Vonn
The Olympic champion spoke, well, laughed with Stephen Colbert about that Austrian cheese remedy and how to tell the gender of skis.

Jimmy Kimmel took his cameras to the local barbershop to get to the bottom of the whole "Do Black People Watch the Winter Olympics?" issue once and for all.
3. Insulting Paul McCartney
David Spade stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night to promote the new season of Rules of Engagement and remember the time the Farley Brothers freaked out a living legend.
2. Colbert Takes On Olympic Nations
While in Vancouver, Comedy Central's Olympic Correspondent challenged the Swiss to fondue pong, the Irish to a Ulysses reading, and the Russians to table hockey.

1. Craig Ferguson Gets Experimental
The host and his old friend Stephen Fry covered a vast number of topics in their hour together, including substance abuse, Zac Efron's beauty, captive animals and Hugh Laurie, resulting in a what could be described as a funnier Charlie Rose Show. Would you be willing to trade some of Ferguson's puppets for more of this format?
