· Matt Damon always seemed like more of a John F. Kennedy type to me, but there he is in talks to play Robert F. Kennedy in an untitled biopic of the assassinated senator and presidential hopeful. It's way early in the development process, but screenwriter Steven Knight (Eastern Promises) has the script assignment and Gary Ross has the directing gig. Jonah Hill sits, Jason Segel teaches, and more Hollywood Ink after the jump.
· You tell me what's the more intriguing detail of the comedy The Sitter, which is currently in the works at Fox: That Jonah Hill is attached to star in and David Gordon Green may direct what's essentially an update of Adventures in Babysitting; or that Hill is the third actor to consider the lead after Zac Efron and Zach Galifianakis. I mean, can't you see the resemblance? [THR]
· Jason Segel has signed on to Bad Teacher, the Cameron Diaz comedy about a foul-mouthed seventh-grade teacher who targets one of her school's more exemplary pedants. Segel's not him, alas; he's just playing the gym instructor. [THR]
· The dramedy formerly known as I'm With Cancer has turned into a full-blown ensemble piece, with Anjelica Huston and Philip Baker Hall the latest castmates to join Seth Rogen, James McAvoy, Anna Kendrick and Bryce Dallas Howard. [Variety]
· Oracles! Will! Priestess! Or... something: Slumdog Millionaire alumna Freida Pinto will co-star in the Greek-mythology spectacular War of the Gods, playing an "oracle priestess" who aids the heroic Thesus (Henry Cavill) on his quest to save mankind. Tarsem Singh will direct. [Variety]
