Ashton Kutcher Invades Chatroulette, Poignantly Lies About Own Films

Perhaps you've heard of Chatroulette, a new video chat website that randomly sets you up to talk to strangers? It's one of those always-fun "cross-sections of humanity" like you see when you go to the DMV, though unlike the DMV, it skews a bit younger and is about half-full of people who are nude or exhorting you to be the same way. Anyway, noted Twitter baron Ashton Kutcher has been spotted using the service, and as screenshots of his experience prove, even celebrities can go on Chatroulette and lie about their filmographies to a complete stranger.

Things started out well enough: After some small talk, Kutcher told his Canadian chat partner that he once shot "a bad film" called Texas Rangers up in Calgary, though when the chatter offered to IMDb it, Kutcher recommended "Don't." Candid, right? Perhaps Kutcher regretted being so open, because when the stranger asked him about his proudest cinematic achievement, Kutcher was forced to indulge in a little resume inflation:

It's nice of Kutcher to throw a little praise to the underseen Personal Effects, but that Michelle Pfeiffer-costarring drama never played Sundance, instead heading straight to DVD (its widest release came when Lifetime acquired it and gave it a television premiere last November). Perhaps Kutcher was thinking of Spread, the gigolo dramedy he starred in that did play Sundance in 2009? Or, perhaps he had just watched the trailer for Killers and had to indulge in a little wishful thinking in order to survive the experience.

...and is about half-full of people who are nude or exhorting you to be the same way.
Interestingly enough, that's an excellent description of how the conversation would go if I were the one chatting with Kutcher.

Kutcher also failed to mention "Personal Effects" involved him wearing a yellow chicken outfit, and that there were actually shots from POV inside said suit. He really should have continued down that Calgary Stampede thread.

Five months ago when the 17 years old Russia, Andrey Ternovskiy, was toying around with chatroulette creating and editing the code several times, he didn't know that in the nearest future, Chat roulette would make him popular and also a young millionaire.
actually, he had to rewrite the code several times in order to achieve the desired result
at 17, no doubt the boy has gained much popularity and will soon become a millionaire.
Other sites are really following in the footstep of chat roulette, http://www.SpinTheCam.com is what I will call chatroulette clone and the second largest random video chat site.
