Hollywood Ink: Kristen Wiig Crashes Freaks and Geeks Reunion

· In their first collaboration since the '90s late, lamented Freaks and Geeks, Paul Feig and Judd Apatow will team to direct and produce (respectively) Kristen Wiig's untitled leading-lady debut for Universal. The studio isn't disclosing the plot -- reportedly something about women competing to organize a friend's wedding party -- but since Wiig co-wrote the screenplay with partner Annie Mumalo, who will critics burden with their tired, requisite complaints of Apatowian chauvinism? Someone's got to take the fall. [Variety]

Al Pacino jumps for No One, another toy is shamelessly exploited, and more Hollywood Ink after the jump.

· Al Pacino is the first star to officially sign on for Son of No One, writer-director Dito Montiel's cop thriller that is expected to co-star Montiel's muse Channing Tatum. As soon as someone can point out the film's viral love tie-in, Tatum will no doubt join up. Terrence Howard, Ray Liotta and Katie Holmes are also in talks. [THR]

· A production company called Helix Films plans to adapt Erector toy sets for the big-screen -- in 3-D. Because nothing says in-your-face action like a dusty box of screws and beams that sits unused in a kid's closet for years after that first, flummoxing playtime experience. [Deadline]

· Ben Stiller may be the guy who finally gets the long-discussed Trump Heist off the ground. The ensemble caper comedy was once set up for a who's who of African-American comics including Eddie Murphy, Chris Rock, Chris Tucker and others, with Brett Ratner attached (and eager) to direct. And of course, leave it to a white Hollywood power broker to expropriate it. Trump Heist: The "Tutti Frutti" of our time! [LAT]

· Katherine Heigl will be honored next month as ShoWest's Woman of the Year. And why not? Have you seen the Killers trailer? [THR]
