Late Night Highlights: Breastfeed Your Grammy and Then Teach It Anti-Semitism

The Jay Leno Show may have been off the air last night (in favor of a super-sized episode of The Biggest Loser to rival ABC's premiere of Lost) but there were plenty of other late night moments worth catching, mostly on Comedy Central. Maybe it is because the Daily Show and the Colbert Report only have twenty-two minutes worth of programming to fill, or maybe because their network gives them more leeway and less advertisers to please, but both shows hogged most of the night's brightest moments, leaving Jimmy Fallon to referee spit-takes and George Lopez to take another fruitless swing at Tiger Woods. After the jump, the best late night moments you missed while designing that Leno ballot-stuffer.

5. Vieira Trivia

Sadly, Movieline predicted that Monday night's Glee-ful episode of Late Night was too inspired to last. Jimmy Fallon returned Tuesday with recycled trivia questions for Who Wants To Be a Millionaire host Meredith Vieira.

4. Nursing That Grammy

Stephen Colbert found another way to incorporate his Grammy into last night's Colbert Report.

3. Brian Williams vs. Jon Stewart

For a split second during last night's Daily Show, Brian Williams seemed as though he was going to pull up his starched shirt and show off his abs, which he claimed rivaled The Situation's. Alas, journalistic integrity got the best of Williams and the the NBC Nightly News anchor kept his shirt firmly in place, instead dazzling viewers with his quick wit. As always, Brian Williams proved that he is one of the best -- if not the best -- Daily Show guest.

2. John Travolta's Pitch For Infomercials

No offense to Haiti, but Travolta is not his most entertaining when discussing how he loaded a plane with supplies and flew it personally to the disaster-torn country. Travolta is a natural storyteller and last night he thankfully ditched the stories of altruism in favor of a good old-fashioned infomercial tale co-starring Cal Ripken and James Taylor.

1. Jon Stewart's Story Hole

Jon Stewart's good friend and bagel puppet, Dr. Bagelman, interrupted the Daily Show last night for another edition of Story Hole, in which the puppet brings attention to the anti-Semitic children's cartoons from Hamas.
