Hollywood Ink: Dimensions! Will! Third!

· This is what people mean when they toss out that abstraction, "Avatar is a game-changer": Warner Bros. is reportedly sorting out the logistics, cost and efficacy of converting its mid-spring blockbuster Clash of the Titans to 3-D. A decision is expected by the end of the month; the studio will run a few tests and see if it's just the Na'vi-ized Sam Worthington who looks cool swinging objects and screaming in viewers' general direction. And don't even get me started about the troubling mutation this would introduce to the Kraken Monster Family Tree. [THR]

Howl's directors have a new biopic to keep them busy, a Weinsteins reunion, and more Hollywood Ink after the jump.

· Their Allen Ginsberg biopic Howl kicks off Sundance tonight, but filmmakers Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman are already looking forward to Lovelace. The project will chronicle the troubled life and times of Linda Lovelace, who rose to prominence as the... gifted star of the 1972 porn benchmark Deep Throat. [Variety]

· Hey, look! The Weinsteins are hiring! Soon-to-be-ex-Miramax execs Peter Lawson and Lucas Webb are expected to be in Park City this week assisting The Weinstein Company as heads of acquisitions and co-productions in the U.S. and U.K., respectively. Cheers to them, as well as the Weinsteins' ousted Miramax successor Daniel Battsek, who was officially installed Wednesday as the new president of National Geographic Films. [Deadline, Deadline]

· Now here's a romcom we can all get behind (I hope): Lymelife director Derek Martini is attached to helm 31 Days of Larry, about a suicidal man and a penniless woman who agree to marry so she'll get his life-insurance payout. Take someone you love. [THR]
