Hollywood Ink: Where There's a Will, There's a Paul Rudd and Zach Galifianakis

· Paul Rudd and Zach Galifianakis are set to star in Will, a Paramount comedy about the title character (Rudd) and his "life writer" (Galifianakis) in Heaven who suddenly decides to stop guiding Will's existence. Thus Will is forced to adapt to a new, directionless perspective without a script -- not so unlike a Judd Apatow movie, with which Rudd thankfully has plenty of past experience. Little Miss Sunshine directors Valerie Faris and Jonathan Dayton are in line to direct. [THR]

Kevin Spacey orders Chinese, Chris Rock goes back to Europe, and more Hollywood Ink after the jump.

· Kevin Spacey will head to China to star in Inseparable, in which he'll play an American expat who befriends a troubled young engineer (Daniel Wu). According to reports, the project makes Spacey the biggest American name to ever headline a fully Chinese-backed film. Careful with your Gmail, Kev! [THR]

· First it was I Think I Love My Wife (based on Eric Rohmer's Chloe in the Afternoon. Then it was Death at a Funeral. Now Chris Rock has poached his third European title in four years as remake fodder: La premiere etoile, or The First Star. The 2009 comedy follows a black family that takes time out from their working-class lives to go skiing. Trouble naturally ensues at their lily-white resort of choice; Rock will write and produce. [Variety]

· Four Christmases director Seth Gordon is close to making a deal to helm the comedy Celeste and Jesse Forever, co-written by and starring Rashida Jones as one-half of a divorcing couple attempting to maintain a friendship while pursuing new relationships. This presumably sets Gordon's dramatic remake of his superb documentary The King of Kong back another two or three long, sad years. But! New opportunities! Hats off. [THR]

· Speaking of hot-ticket Slamdance Film Festival alumni, the crime thriller Down Terrace -- currently slotted to premiere next week in Park City -- was acquired by genre distribution concern Magnet Releasing. [THR]

"Will" sounds very similar to "Stranger than Fiction" starring Will Ferrell... (Which is an amazing movie BTW and Ferrell's shining moment as an actor)
