The AP is offering a cryptic update on Charlie Sheen's arrest this weekend on charges of domestic abuse -- the Two and a Half Men star allegedly used a weapon. Yikes. Well, let's make an obvious connection to Sheen's best horrible TV appearance and leave this whole thing alone.
First, the news update.
ASPEN, Colo. - Authorities say actor Charlie Sheen is accused of using a weapon in an alleged case of domestic violence in Aspen.
Sheen spent part of Christmas Day in jail after being arrested at a home in the Colorado ski resort town.
Sheen also was arrested on investigation of second-degree assault, a felony, and criminal mischief, a misdemeanor.
Sheen hasn't been charged and was released Friday after posting an $8,500 bond. Prosecutors will determine whether to file charges.
Next, the grim TV appearance, which was played on primetime as recently as last night:
Yep, there's Sheen partying at the links with fellow prize-winning husband Michael Jordan. Luckily the underwear company dropped that "Get our Hanes on you" tagline, because fate is sometimes a forgiving dame.
Furthermore, I don't like this version of Clue the AP is playing with us. My guess remains "Colonel Estevez in the ski lodge with the unhinged personality disorder." No word yet on what this all means for Two and a Half Men, other than it might get less funny. So brace yourself.
UPDATE: TMZ reports the weapon was a knife.
