Hollywood Ink: Anna Faris Rom-Com Bonanza!

· Anna Faris had a pretty good Monday, led by the news that Universal had acquired the comedy pitch TMI as a likely project for her and Ryan Reynolds. It's the first pick-up by new studio bosses Adam Fogelson and Donna Langley, who may or may not have related to the script about a married couple whose policy of complete honesty goes a tad too far. Either way, Faris is reportedly ready to go just as soon as Reynolds knocks out The Green Lantern. LOLZ will ensue. [Variety]

Another frothy Faris project gears up at Touchstone, Cedar Rapids packs in yet another cast member, and more Hollywood Ink after the jump.

· Faris is also negotiating to co-star in Wedding Banned, the previously announced comedy featuring Robin Williams as a father who teams up with his estranged wife to kidnap his daughter (Faris) on her wedding day. The purpose: to prevent her from their own mistake of getting married. On the set between takes, at least, it could be one of the funniest films of the year! [THR]

· The Ed Helms comedy Cedar Rapids celebrated its 100th casting announcement -- Stephen Root -- with a cake and slide show of previous cast additions like John C. Reilly, Anne Heche and Sigourney Weaver. [THR]

· Eat your heart out, screenwriters: A former Lionsgate intern sold his action spec The Last Stand to his old company, with Lorenzo di Bonaventura on board to produce. [THR]

· Paramount, meanwhile, nabbed an untitled, logline-under-wraps, family fantasy-comedy script from the more seasoned duo of Jim Field Smith and George Kay, who are expected to turn in something along the genre lines of Night at the Museum. [THR]

I don't care what anyone thinks, but I friggin' loved all of Anna and Ryan's scenes together in Just Friends so I am clearly excited about this. Plus, I'll see pretty much anything Anna is in, however this Robin Williams project might be the exception to the rule. Too. Much. Crazy.
