TV Round Up: Franco the Peace Tagger

· A few new images from James Franco's mysteriously motivated arc on General Hospital have surfaced. We deduced that Franco will run some sort of furniture/art showroom while moonlighting as a graffiti artist and taming stormy relationships with Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and a new character, played by Lost's Marsha Thomason. New interpretations welcome.

· Stephanie Meyer, the press-shy Twilight series author, will make a rare media appearance on the November 13 episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show. Predicting that the OWN-namesake will not ask questions stimulating to her fan base, Meyer will answer additional questions submitted via her blog on New Moon Day.

· J.J. Abrams remains optimistic about Fringe's plummeting numbers, telling the EW, "The mood on set and in the writer's room is as good as the ratings are bad, which is to say, wonderful."

· Beginning February, Curb Your Enthusiasm will air in syndication on the TV Guide network. TV Land will feature episodes from the first seven seasons beginning in 2013.

· Battlestar Galactica's Michael Trucco will join Virginia Williams in USA Network's pilot Facing Kate, about a divorced woman who abandons her career as a San Francisco lawyer to become a mediator following her father's death.

· Marlee Matlin defended her controversial skit on last night's Family Guy Variety Show (below) while promoting her next project, "a very funny show for Showtime with Mario Cantone and Carol Leifer."
