Did Brian McKnight Just Slip a Dark Confession Into a Dane Cook Interview?
I honestly don't know much about Brian McKnight outside of the fact that he sang that song "One, you make my dreams come true, Two, electric boogaloo, etc..." and that he was one of the non-Hitler-like contestants on the last season of Celebrity Apprentice -- but apparently he has a show! It's called The Brian McKnight Show, and it airs on The CW Plus. (Other things I didn't know: That The CW came in a plus-size.)
Anyway, a reader watching the show stumbled upon this interview with Dane Cook, in which McKnight very abrubtly switches gears and sets up a "what would you do" scenario: You've just fatally hit a homeless guy with no witnesses around. You were drunk. Do you: 1) Speed off and hope there were no security cameras around to capture it? 2) Give yourself over to the authorities? 3) Go on national TV and ask hack comics incredibly random, potentially guilt-fueled questions that instantly arouse suspicion? 4) Repeat steps one through three? 5) Make you fall in love with me?
Cook -- who claims to have never have had a drink in his life (which could explain a lot) -- went with 2; think carefully before offering your answer. And here's the clip -- apologies for its poor quality.

Was that some kind of awkward audition to be on Brian's real talk show? Because I don't get it at the end when he says, "come on by the studio and we'll sit down." So, because Dane gave the right answer on the morality question, next visit he gets a chair? I really don't understand. But they do need chairs, because they both were doing the 8-year-old boys' "gotta pee" back 'n forth rocking motion the entire time.
