· I'm not sure whose idea it was to make a YouTube montage dedicated to pictures of an oft-barechested David Caruso looming over terrified women, then eating their faces (and scored to Katy Perry's "I Kissed a Girl," because why not), but I would be lying if I said it hasn't transfixed half of the people at Movieline HQ today. Next up in YouTube montages nobody ever asked for: a tribute to character actor David Paymer scored with "Sex Bomb" by Tom Jones, and a "slashfic" video featuring Martin and Eddie from Frasier (with Nine Inch Nails' "Animal" blaring in the background). The strangely compelling clip, after the jump:
· The Simpsons movie may have made a mint at the box office, but Matt Groenig said the act of producing a 90-minute, merely OK version of the TV series was so exhausting that another film isn't likely to happen anytime soon.
· Elizabeth Taylor is going into the hospital to undergo a medical procedure on her heart, she announced today on her Twitter.
· At one point, Helen Hunt was in negotiations to take over the vacated Maura Tierney role in NBC's Parenthood, but now the network is circling Ausiello muse Lauren Graham.
· Some clever investigative reporter at Us unearthed a bombshell today: Project Runway headmistress Heidi Klum is legally changing her name. The star, married for four years to Seal, has decided to take his surname -- which poses a bit of a conundrum, since Seal's full name is Seal Henry Olusegun Olumide Adeola Samuel. Her solution? "Heidi Samuel." That's a bit of a snoozefest, Heids.
