The Princess and the Frog Poster Full of Things That Look Like Other Things
Behold the poster for The Princess and the Frog, Disney's greatly hyped return to 2D animation. As you can see, it's a busy little thing, full of characters great and small, Mardi Gras decorations, spooky -- uh, we mean scary -- shadow puppets, retarded Cajuns, blackjack accoutrements and voodoo products ... basically everything you could hope for in an enduring family classic. As happens from time to time around Movieline HQ, however, things began to resemble other things. Debate ensued. Staffers were divided over whether the titular amphibian resembled Michigan J. Frog or the lesser-known, direct-to-video frog Jean-Bob from The Swan Princess. Jean-Bob won out. Eventually, we landed upon a consensus. The result is after the jump.

Well, well. I'll just chalk this up to yet another snub of the indispensable, neoteric magus; Miss Cleo.
The Swan Princess (featuring Jean-Bob) was a theatrical release, not a direct-to-video. You may be thinking of the sequels.
i thought Naveen the frog totally resembled Michigan J (despite only seeing the cartoon once the impression was so solid!).
Dr Facilier reminded me of Jafar from Aladdin. The Turtle looks like the one from Finding Nemo (the sagely one giving a ride through the South Sea Stream to Nemo Father)
I didn't saw the movie, but from what I've seen from the trailer, it has lots of things which look like were based on previous animation movies.
For instance the frog and the transformation from frogs to humans is obviously from "The Swan Princess". All of the scenes with Dr Facilier are based on "The Emperor's New Groove" in the parts where Yzma comes in. The parts which have boats in it and the human form of prince Naveen are very much alike with "Anastasia". Finally, the crocodile seems to be taken from "The Rescuers".
I'm sure there are a lot more...
