Katherine Heigl Rebuked By ABC

Fun Fact: There are actually other people that work on Grey's Anatomy besides Katherine Heigl -- not that the media, or Heigl herself, cares to acknowledge that. Last month, when Heigl publicly and continually grumbled that her first day back at work this season involved a 17-hour day, would you believe that there were crew members who also had to work that day and didn't have the platform of a Letterman visit to milk sympathy for it?

Asked about Heigl's latest tirade at the ABC press tour this past weekend, ABC entertainment president Stephen McPherson managed the impressive feat of being both diplomatic and bitch-slappy:

McPherson calls Katherine Heigl's latest anti-Grey's tirade "unfortunate," adding, "People will behave in a way they choose to behave. There are so many people who work unbelievably hard on Grey's... so I think it's really hard for them to hear [her complain about working a 17-hour day]."

And that was only the first episode of the season! We can't wait for tensions to continue escalating until this year's finale, which Heigl will commemorate by hiring a skywriter to buzz Los Angeles with the words, "C U SHONDA. STEPHEN, U R A FUC" before the rest of her tirade is lost to wind.
