RIP John Hughes. Thanks for providing so many of my favorite childhood films.
What the hell!
Damn, this is a shocker. I remember his teen films... damn.
Thanks for all the wonderful films. 59 is too damn young.
We won't forget about you.
It's too bad. Very rare for a writer to not only set something in Chicago but flaunt the fact.
No more yanky my wanky. RIP, righteous dude.
I still quote Pretty in Pink every time I meet someone named Blaine. RIP John.
RIP John. My all time fave film is still Ferris Beuller's Day Off, although I also love The Breakfast Club and Weird Science. You were an iconic and under-rated writer, producer and director, but you will not be forgotten.
I will be wearing a bra on my head and showering in my jeans in his honor.
Danke schoen.
Pretty much 85% of the time, when I'm dancing, it's the Molly Ringwald dance from Breakfast Club.
Les jeux sont faits. Translation: the game is up. But John Hughes movies will live forever. RIP.
Wow this is a sad moment, Sixteen candles and Weird Science are classics. His films and MTV were what made the 80's fun for someone like me to growing up in.
I was just posting on my blog about him. He will be missed.
