Seth Rogen on Katherine Heigl: 'We're Not The Only Ones She's Said Some Batshit Crazy Things About'

feud-b_0.jpg

With one powerful swat of his mighty bear paw, Seth Rogen took out Doug Ellin and the rest of the cretinous Entourage crew recently, calling the series creator a "moron" and "asshole" in response to a recent line on the show referring to his "oddly fascinating ugliness." But today he took on an arguably far more formidable foe: his Knocked Up costar, Katherine Heigl.

On The Howard Stern Show today, Rogen and Judd Apatow stopped by to promote Funny People. Stern asked about Heigl's infamous Vanity Fair interview, in which she said the film that launched her film career "paints the women as shrews," while making their male counterparts "lovable." Rogen brought up her vibrating-panties movie:

"That [movie] looks like it really puts women on a pedestal in a beautiful way."

Apatow figured Heigl was "probably was doing six hours of interviews and kissing everyone's a**, and then just got tired and slipped a little bit" when she made the remarks to Vanity Fair.

Regardless, Rogen said, "I didn't slip and I was doing f****** interviews all day too ... I didn't say s***!" [...]

Rogen said he doesn't feel bad since Heigl seems to run her mouth and [sic] most people, including Grey's Anatomy staff.

"I gotta say it's not like we're the only people she said some bat **** crazy things about," he said. "That's kind of her bag now."

This calls for a pint of Häagen-Dazs and a two-hour phone call with T.R. Knight, commiserating over what a "total asshole" he is and how she "should have gotten that shmashmortion after all!"

Rogen will be discovered bound & oscillated to death before this weekend is over.

  • Strepsi says:

    That's some good interview there.
More to point though, is that Seth Abramovitch totally Looooooooves Seth Rogen. You should totally put a ring on it. Your Celebrity Couple name will be "Seth".

  • snickers says:

He mentioned "bear" in the opening sentence. Sweet, sweet love is in the air.

  • BobInLA says:

When will Seth Rogen gain back the weight so we can actually laugh at what he says. Wake me after THE GREEN HORNET bombs.

  • Shrink says:

Seth Rogen, the 8th wonder of the world! Not only is he not talented, he's not funny, and... he isn't good-looking?! Yet, he managed to carve out a lucrative film career for himself...? Look, I'm not a total snob, but at least give us one of these (previous Hollywood) requirements. Sorry Seth(s), got no fans in this corner! Balls to ROGEN...*FART NOISE*!!!

Can anyone say over reaction? Heigl didn't trash Rogan or the film. She just commented on elements present in the script and film -- the women were portrayed as shrews and the loser guys as lovable.
What Heigl should have said is how tired we (audiences) are getting of films that show loser, fat guys hooking up with beautiful, successful women. Knocked up is the same story we've seen 100 times. Loser meets and hooks up with a sexy woman in total unbelievable circumstances... woman realizes loser is a loser and disapproves of loser because he is a loser and runs away... woman discovers something that requires her to return to loser... woman tries to change loser... woman sees loser will never change so runs away... loser realizes he needs to change and then changes... loser shows woman he has changed and she falls in love with him... no wait, she was always in love with the loser, but was denying that love, so when loser comes back to show he is not a loser anymore, woman simply releases the love she has had all along for loser.
Maybe Rogan is reacting this was because his movies are unoriginal tripe. BTW I am not a Heigl fan. Even if we somehow hooked up I would never change for her.

Well SOMEbody woke up on the wrong side of the pathetic movie opening this week!

Seth Rogan's entire 'acting' career consists of playing a sloppy, unemployed infant who is made out to be adorable in that way babies are adorable when making funny faces while filling their diapers. How would any of his movie roles be different than filming a documentary about Rogan's actual life? Nice career.

  • jesse says:

I completely agree with Seth. K Heigl has been bad mouthing the majority of what's helped build her career (from her remarks about her work schedule being "mean" to her emmy withdraw to her badmouthing a film that barely hit rental status) and I am shocked that after her infamous vanity fair remarks about "knocked up", that Rob Luketic would put her in the same role different film and then cast her in his NEXT flick 5 killers. Hello Rob? Are you Listening? HUGE Kutcher fan. NOT gonna see 5 killers. Seth=comedic genius Katie=ungrateful untalented
