Movieline

Dark Secrets Revealed!

Another week down at Movieline, where we sought to resolve troubles afflicting creatures big and small from lands far and wide. I'm pretty sure we got most of them taken care of -- Mischa, I promise we'll get to you next week. Reminisce with us after the jump.

· We looked forward to this year's Emmy nominations, only to discover that most of the stars who weren't already guaranteed spots weren't even paying attention (ahem, so they said).

· A Movieline World Exclusive unearthed first-look pictures of Mickey Rourke's drunken Iron Man 2 cockatoo.

· Actors Rose Byrne and Adam Brody, directors Mick Garris (Ghosts) and Lara Shapiro (Labor Pains), Verge selectee Robert Hoffman and the lads behind the 20-year-old Strand Releasing all paid us a visit for interviews.

· Vinessa Shaw, Leelee Sobieski and 350 orgiastic Europeans wished Eyes Wide Shut a happy 10th anniversary.

· The superb, surprising Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince was greeted by near-record crowds, an unusually approving Vatican, skivvy-ad memories, Emma Watson-craving critics and a trenchant look ahead to the young cast in 2021.

· Movieline's Tournament of Champions returned with a diverse Celeb-Twitter smackdown featuring Diablo Cody, Miley Cyrus, Elizabeth Taylor and current title challengers Rainn Wilson and Jon Favreau. Have you voted?

· Meanwhile, Jonah Hill's Twitter history -- or fake Twitter history, anyway -- was a going concern of much graver importance.

· Say what you will about The Wendy Williams Show and Big Brother 11: They'll still do more for you than the new season of Entourage.

· Readers learned the difference between the Green Lantern and the Green Hornet, not to mention all those man-child conquests of Zooey Deschanel's.

· TS Faull contributed this week's One-Page Screenplay, Throat Babies. Be very afraid.

· Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Whip It underwent our scientific Two-Minute Verdict judgment. David Carradine's final film, however, was deemed psychologically unfit to stand trial.
