Farrah Fawcett Dead at 62

More sad news for the week: Farrah Fawcett died this morning after a protracted battle with cancer. She was 62. Fawcett received last rites earlier today, according to an ABC report; People notes that Ryan O'Neal and best friend Alana Stewart were both present when she passed. A few video remembrances -- and your condolences -- after the jump.

One of the best-known images of the '70s helped establish Fawcett as Charlie's Angels' preeminent sex symbol; her relationship with first husband Lee Majors and later O'Neal and turbulent public life kept her in the tabloids for decades hence. Three years ago she was diagnosed with anal cancer, which she fought valiantly until succumbing this morning in Santa Monica.

We'll remember the good times -- and the hair. Oh God, the hair. And the reeaallly early days, just for fun (skip forward to 0:50). RIP, Farrah.
