Shouldn't They Be Wearing Less Clothes in Clash of the Titans?

Slashfilm has posted the first picture of former Bond girl Gemma Arterton in the upcoming remake of Clash of the Titans, and coupled with the initial photos of an overclothed Sam Worthington taking up Harry Hamlin's sword and shield, I'm starting to get concerned over one thing: This is freakin' Clash of the Titans, so where's all the skin, dudes?

Yes, yes, this is a more serious take on Titans, which means less stop-motion monsters and such things. Still, though, would it kill Arteron to show some collarbone, or let Worthington's arms breathe free? The original Titans wasn't simply a rip-roaring adventure yarn -- it was also a delightful example of how much puberty-inciting bare flesh a film could pack into a PG rating. It's time for all involved to treat their source material with more reverence, and to spring for a partially-used, half-off pair of prosthetic abs.

Is Gemma Arterton supposed to be Athena? Maybe that is why she is so clothed.
I just hope this movie doesn't take itself too seriously. It should try to be more than 300, but it shouldn't try to be the next Lawrence of Arabia.

Maybe there will be a directors cut when the dvd comes out with some fleshy outtakes.

    Fewer. That's fewer clothes.

But with a simple flick of the wrist, that burlap shawl will fall to the ground revealing a bronze thong and pasties.
