Two days in a row of The View clips...flashbacks to time working on chiaroscuro Hollywood blog ruled by statistic-obsessed British overlord...must...press...on...
Ron Howard and Tom Hanks appeared on The View today to discuss Angels & Demons, but all anyone wanted to know about was what in the world the erstwhile Opie was doing in that Jamie Foxx video from a while back. (sidebar: Hanks had never seen the video before, and his reaction to the clip of it is hilarious.)
Howard explained that he was a little surprised by the club-and-Courvoisier setting, as Foxx had sold him on a celebrity-studded video a la "We are the World." Sadly, Foxx eventually retitled his single from "Blame All Of Society's Ills on the A-A-A-Alcohol," and soon enough, Howard was thrust before a red-filtered camera, forced to nod his head as a bikini-clad woman in a cage cooed, "I loved Frost/Nixon! Wait, can you see nip in this bra?"
