Sony CEO Hates Internet; Doesn't Care Who Knows It

· Sony announced a net loss of 98.9 billion ($1.03 billion) yen versus a profit of 369.4 billion yen ($3.88 billion) last year, due mostly to losses in their electronics and games sectors. The movie division fell 16.4%. CEO of Sony Films Michael Lynton blames the internet: "I am a guy who hasn't seen any good come out of the internet. It seems to have done damage to every (part) of the entertainment business." The producers of Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus would beg to differ. [Variety, THR]

· There's talk that Fox wants a reality series for the fall, with rumors it will either be So You Think You Can Dance and its supremely irritating panel of judges, or The Fatchelor, a "supersized dating series from ... Mike Fleiss" that we hope doesn't combine handsome, available men and single ladies with flatulence. [Variety]

· Lindsay Lohan will star in an "indie fantasy comedy" called The Other Side, which also features Woody Harrelson, Giovanni Ribisi, Dave Matthews and Alanis Morissette. This will be her first time in cinemas since I Know Who Killed Me, as her last effort, Labor Pains, has been downgraded to an ABC Family movie of the week. "Lindsay's very aware of people's perceptions of her," director David Michaels told Daily Variety. "She's really committed to doing what she has to in order to change that." [Variety]

· Ray Liotta, Mila Kunis and Mark Ruffalo have joined Date Night, rounding out the cast of the Tina Fey/Steve Carell date-from-hell movie that already included Mark Wahlberg, James Franco, Taraji P. Henson, Common, and Kristen Wiig. [THR]

· DreamWorks wants to remake Tom Holland's classic vampires n' da hood comedy, Fright Night. Let's revisit the original's best scene. [THR]
