Goldblum Serves Up Justice

For those who like their television twisty, turny and polar bear-y, Lost finishes up tonight. But for the disappointed souls who miss NBC's Life, there is a new kooky detective in the precinct, dishing out Miranda warnings in his own syncopated style.

Law & Order: Criminal Intent [8 PM, NBC]

If you missed Jeff Goldblum's debut on L&O:CI when it first aired on USA Network, NBC called it up to the major leagues for re-airing. Goldblum's Detective Zach Nichols investigates his first case, the murder of a musician in an ethnic neighborhood, with new partner Detective Wheeler (Julianne Nicholson). We don't want to give too much away, but at one point, Goldblum will improvise a jazzy number on the keyboard to prove a point to the suspects. If this Goldblum isn't fresh enough, catch him every other Sunday night on USA, alternating weeks with Vincent D'Onofrio as Criminal Intent's lead investigator-eccentric. Still hungry for more big G? Goldblum is lead guest on Fallon tonight.

The New Adventures of Old Christine [8:30 PM, CBS]

To prove she's fine with her ex-husband (Clark Gregg) marrying New Christine (Emily Rutherfurd), Old Christine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) pretends to be in love with her obnoxious date (Lee Tergesen) at the rehearsal dinner. As the straight man, Gregg doesn't get to flex his comedic guns too often on this show, but he has such a confident screen presence that we find ourselves ignoring (or trying to ignore) most of the other characters. If anyone hears about Clark Gregg reading the phone book in a dark alley somewhere, we'd like a couple tickets.

Keeping Up with the Kardashians [8 PM, E!]

KUwtK is apparently airing new episodes, and while society may have moved on to the latest crazy family (Octomom?), you can catch up with last Sunday's epi tonight. Khloe searches for an apartment in New York City even though her family doesn't fully support her move. After Kris reveals that she has babies on the brain, Kim and Kourtney give her a monkey. There's something to be said here about how chimps are really dangerous pets but until that primate takes out the boom mic guy, it's pretty cute.

Half Baked [11 PM, BET]

With Pineapple Express redefining the weed movie for the new generation, Half Baked is starting to slip into the recesses of the late 90's cult classic DVD bargain bin alongside Dirty Work. The story of four stoners (Dave Chappelle, Jim Breuer, Harland Williams, Guillermo Díaz) and their various misadventures (feeding a diabetic police horse, getting caught up with a drug lord), this film still seems pretty fresh (green?) and the cameos from Jon Stewart ("There's a dude in the bushes. Has he got a gun? I dunno! RED TEAM GO, RED TEAM GO!"), Janeane Garofalo, and Bob Saget were the perfect way to spice up the second act of this comedy.
