New York Times readers were treated to a splashy fashion layout this weekend featuring a superstar of the silver screen, legs splayed seductively and dangling a naughty piece of lingerie over a killer pair of f**k-me pumps. Any guesses as to who it was?
It was none other than Inglourious Basterds director and unabashed podophiliac Quentin Tarantino! The spread, entitled "The Call Back," entwines Tarantino on a variety of mid-Century furnishings with German beauty Diane Kruger; she plays Basterds' Bridget von Hammersmark, a popular German film actress and Ally spy. Says Tarantino about the rush to ready the film in time for Cannes: "I wanted to have a masterpiece before the decade's out." That's the kind of confidence you need to pull off three-inch heels when you're a men's size 12.
